This pretty upcycled bag is completely vegan. True to the motto: "Make new from old!" I made this versatile crossbody bag from salvaged textiles. This makes it not only unique but also super sustainable. :)
The corduroy fabric I used was a high-quality leftover from overproduction. The lining fabric was originally a duvet cover. The two-way zipper allows for quick opening and closing of the fabric fanny pack on both sides.
I've also sewn in a large compartment inside for your cell phone, keys, or wallet, measuring 18 cm x 12 cm (W x H). A small loop allows you to secure your AirPods or keys with a carabiner hook.
The best thing about this small series is that the pocket with the angel motif inside each corduroy bag was cut by me! :)
The strap is made from Econyl® yarn. Econyl® is made from recycled fishing nets, old carpets, textile scraps, and plastic waste, making it 100% sustainable. It is 4 cm wide and adjustable in length.
The two snap hooks allow for easy attachment or replacement of the strap.
