This pretty upcycled bag is completely vegan. True to the motto: "Make new from old!" I made this versatile crossbody bag from salvaged textiles. This makes it not only unique but also super sustainable. :)
The tapestry I used was originally a high-quality curtain fabric. The two-way zipper allows you to quickly open and close the fabric fanny pack on both sides. I also sewed in a large slip pocket inside, measuring 18 cm x 12 cm (W x H), for your cell phone, keys, or wallet. A small loop allows you to secure your AirPods or keys with a carabiner hook.
The webbing is made from Econyl® yarn. Econyl® is made from recycled fishing nets, old carpets, textile scraps, and plastic waste, making it 100% sustainable. It is 4 cm wide and adjustable in length. The two snap hooks allow for easy attachment or replacement of the webbing.
