True to the motto: "Make something new from old!" I made this versatile crossbody bag from salvaged textiles. This makes it not only unique but also incredibly sustainable. :) The velvet I used was originally a high-quality curtain fabric.
The pink zipper allows for quick opening and closing of the fabric fanny pack. I've also sewn in a large compartment inside, measuring 18 cm x 12 cm (W x H), for your cell phone, keys, or wallet. A small loop allows you to secure your AirPods or keys with a carabiner.
The webbing is made from Econyl® yarn. Econyl® is made from recycled fishing nets, old carpets, textile scraps, and plastic waste, making it 100% sustainable. It is 4 cm wide and adjustable in length. The two snap hooks allow for easy attachment or replacement of the webbing.
