This pretty upcycled bag is completely VEGAN. True to the motto: "Out with the old, in with the new!", I made this versatile crossbody bag from rescued textiles. This makes it not only unique, but also super sustainable. :)
The material I used comes from rescued curtain fabric. The two-way zipper allows you to quickly open and close the fabric fanny pack on both carrying sides. Inside, I have also sewn in a large slip pocket for your cell phone, keys or wallet measuring 18 cm x 12 cm (W x H). A small loop allows you to secure your AirPods or keys with a carabiner.
The webbing is made of Econyl® yarn. Econyl® is made from recycled fishing nets, old carpets, textile scraps and plastic waste and is therefore 100% sustainable. It is 4 cm wide and adjustable in length. The two carabiners allow easy attachment or replacement of the webbing.
